Scootworks provides a changeover kit for the Drifter to a belt drive. The bikes are available via e-bay and other sites.  Good luck!

Hey Keith !  I have been thinking about buying a bike . havent rode in years . I saw your bike and  I love the style . I love the look. Do any of the drifters come with a belt drive, that seems to be a nice feature. I just want it for crusing around town and taking my wife on 2 or 3 day trips. will the 800 do it, or the 1500. I want to buy a used one, but I wonder if there are many available, oh yeah , I realy only like black bikes. if you could tell me all you know about this good looking machine . thanks Joe Lewis
